South Fork Natural History Museum: Summer Gala Benefit


The South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO), held its 36th Annual Summer Gala Benefit (Champions of the Wild: A New Generation) at their museum in Bridgehampton, to benefit SOFO’s educational and environmental programs and initiatives.

This year, Liev Schreiber served as the Honorary Chair and the hosts included Erica Noble & Ray Iwanowski, Kim & Greg Lippmann, and Susan & David Rockefeller with special guest, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff.

Honorees for the evening included SOFO Board Trustees and committed supporters of the museum Ray Iwanowski & Erica Noble, Joshua Fox, Director of the Brady Hunter Foundation headquartered in Miami, Florida, and Jeff Corwin of the “Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin,” which airs on CBS in NY.

The VIP cocktail reception with tastings from East End restaurants including Bell & Anchor, The Beacon, East Hampton Grill, Farm & Forage, Hampton Coffee, LUNCH, Page at 234 Main, Saaz, Shellworks, Southampton Social Club, The Golden Pear, and Union Burger.

Cocktail hour (provided by Amagansett Wines & Spirits, Channing Daughters Winery, Michael Cinque and J.A. Baczewski Monopolowa Gin & Vodka was followed by the honoree presentation, seated dinner (catered by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection), auction, and dancing, with flowers by Mark Masone Designs.
