The [comfort zone] Body Strategist collection debuts at Glen Ivy Hot Springs

Glen Ivy Hot Springs provided the perfect backdrop for the launch of the Body Strategist Wellness Routine collection by Italian wellness brand [comfort zone].  While beauty tastemakers from the lifestyle journalism and influencer communities from Southern California got into the spirit with a breathwork session and gentle yoga stretching led by a Cynthia, a Glen Ivy on-site practitioner, the main master class led by brand representatives Anita Sundaram and Becca Schneider, focused on how to use the seven products at home to transition the retreat/self-care experience from an occasional spa day treat to a daily ritual.

Participants were also treated to Glen Ivy Hot Springs’ Firm & Tone Collagen Massage, access to 19 pools, including mineral baths, hot and cold plunge, saline and lounge pools, a dip into the fabled Club Mud’s locally sourced red clay mud, and lunch at spa restaurant Ivy Kitchen. treatment features hydrolyzed vegan collagen to fortify and revitalize tissues, supporting the skin’s structure and overall resilience. The update of the Glen Ivy signature massage, integrating several of the new [comfort zone] formulas, is designed to visibly enhance tone, firmness, and skin elasticity by stimulating collagen production. The massage is available to the public, along with the seven-product collection, at Glen Ivy Hot Springs.

“I like to take the words ‘self care’ and ‘ritual’ and expand them into what I call ‘soul care,’ because what some consider self care has become watered down,” explained Sundaram (left), on forming healthy habits to use the products in the most intentional way. “Ask yourself what’s the deepest, intentional, purposeful activity that you can do every day that makes us, as women and human beings, feel good. We’re not only taking care of our skin (on our face), but also our skin from the neck down. What you do on a daily basis, like skincare, matters over a long period of time as it does in the moment you apply it.”

The master class introducing guests to the Body Strategist Wellness Routine was hands-on in every sense of the word. The hero products, exfoliating Peel ScrubCollagen Cream, and toning Collagen Oil, were showcased, while experiencing other products—particularly the D-Age Cream and Cryo Leg Gel–prompted several people at the debut event to purchase them to put them to work at home right away.

“We don’t want to actually layer all this stuff, as everything has a very specific purpose,” said the bubbly Schneider as she kicked the master class off with the Peel Scrub. Rather than pile one product upon the other, she and Sundaram directed participants to apply the various products on different patches of skin, demonstrated the proper way to use guashas, and explained how collagens actually “work,” informing the way the different products are used.

As a solid, intentionally practiced self-care ritual should not be limited to the media,  the “[comfort zone] Skin & Body Wellness Master Class at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, along with most of the activities and amenities, is available to the public and included with the purchase of a day pass.
