Jeff Krauss, the Co-owner of illustrious entertainment companies, IE Group and FanRoom Live is the entertainment guru redefining fan experiences with Hollywood’s best. Pre-covid, there were only a few ways to interact with revered artists outside of their tours, concerts or publicized events. If you were fortunate enough to be invited to an exclusive event, you may have caught a glimpse of your favorite celeb being ushered into VIP. That was the norm, until Jeff Krauss and his partners created an unprecedented entertainment experience, FanRoom Live. Jeff Krauss is the Co-Founder and co-creator of FanRoom Live, an interactive virtual event experience that is redefining how fans interact with celebrities.
“My intentions weren’t to have a career in hospitality and entertainment,” explains Krauss. “It started as a dare because my friends and I hated waiting in long lines to get into the club but you know who didn’t have to wait, the club promoters.” Subsequently, Krauss and a few friends began as club promoters navigating the New York club scene. Allotting him years of first-hand experience working the New York nightlife. Although it presented its challenges, Krauss discovered a passion and knack for creating memorable experiences.

This adoration for the community led Krauss to co-create FanRoom Live during the pandemic. “We went from charity events and holiday dinners to complete lockdown,” reflects Krauss. “Covid had a catastrophic impact on our lives and we needed to do something.” The solution, Krauss phoned two friends, CEO of 123 Talent Mich Faulkner and iconic comedian Cedric The Entertainer to create an unprecedented virtual entertainment experience. Initially, the idea for FanRoom Live was to connect celebrities with fans, give people something to do and lift morale. However, Krauss took it a step further and included a charity component. Giving fans the opportunity to not only connect with their artists but also the charities they are passionate about. In June 2020, internationally renowned comedian George Lopez was the first celebrity to be featured on FanRoom Live. Fans from all over the world were able to engage with Mr. Lopez right before his Netflix special, “We’ll Do It For Half.” The event was such a success, the trio, Krauss, Cedric and Faulkner knew they were on the brink of something magical.
Since its initial launch in 2020, FanRoom Live has grown to various events from comedy, to charity, to WWE Hall Of Famers and has reached over 138 countries. Fans have had the opportunity to engage with celebrities from a wide range of industries such as D.L Hughley, Morgan Fairchild, Kenny Arnoff, Whey Jennings to NFL Super Bowl winners and more. Krauss emphasizes, “It is important to have celebrities who appreciate their fans more than anything. We’re creating unique one-on-one virtual experiences where people have the opportunity to interact with their favorite public figure on a personal level.”
