Antonella Bertello, owner of Baker House 1650, and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff joined forces to welcome a distinguished gathering of guests for an evening dedicated to celebrating the Hamptons International Film Festival—while seamlessly uniting the worlds of fashion, art, fine wine, and philanthropy.
The reception offered a perfect opportunity to embrace the festival’s creative spirit and honor the filmmakers and artistic talent that make the Hamptons such a vibrant cultural destination.
Adding a distinctly cinematic note were selections from Mas des Infermières, the exceptional Provençal vineyard owned by acclaimed filmmaker Sir Ridley Scott and his family. The estate beautifully merges Scott’s passion for visual storytelling with the centuries-old traditions of French winemaking.
Art lovers were treated to the striking work of photographer and artist Ashley Medici, whose pieces added another layer of creative energy to the evening.
Philanthropy remained front and center as Jean Shafiroff spotlighted the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County and its signature Old Bags Luncheon. The annual event raises critical funds for programs supporting children, families, and individuals facing challenges across Palm Beach County. The 2027 Old Bags Luncheon will take place on February 17, with Jean Shafiroff serving as co-chair.
It was an evening where the magic of cinema extended far beyond the screen—bringing together creative minds, philanthropic hearts, and the Hamptons community in a memorable celebration of film, the arts, and giving back.
