LIKE WHISKEY FOR CHOCOLATE: A Gastronomy Match Made to Perfection

The Macallan

The Macallan, Compartés Chocolate, and Spago Beverly Hills merge in an exalted taste experience.

Founded in Scotland in 1824, The Macallan brand is globally recognized as the premier name in single malt whiskey distillation and artistry. Crafted from curated raw materials and aged to perfection by masters, this year’s limited release, The Harmony Collection, was celebrated in consummate style at renowned Spago Beverly Hills with actor and brand ambassador Kieron Elliott serving as Master of Ceremonies.

To celebrate the exclusive limited release, invited media and Macallan executives were treated to a cocktail reception with delectable aperitifs, a cacao bar, and a multi-course dinner culminating in a Harmony Whiskey and Comparté Chocolate pairing. Guests savored decadent chocolate imbued with vanilla, dates, cinnamon, and honey complemented with the complex and aromatic cacao spirit.

Not to be overshadowed by gourmet food and drink, Scottish actor and brand spokesperson Kieron Elliott captivated attendees with his sharp Scottish wit and exceptional brand knowledge. Elliot introduced each course and whiskey pairing with a combination comedy routine and lecture, never missing an opportunity to interject perfectly timed humor, good-natured fun at Scottish weather and whiskey novices.

The Harmony Collection
