The M Resort Spa Casino Las Vegas Debuts Its New Expansion With a Fireworks Gala

M RESORT LAS VEGAS

M Resort Spa Casino, the Official Team Headquarters Hotel of the Las Vegas Raiders, will commemorate the grand opening of its $206 million expansion with a spectacular celebration on Wednesday, December 3, 2025—marking the debut of the resort’s new East Tower, expanded conference and event space, and renovated casino floor.

The official grand opening ceremony will bring together resort leadership, local dignitaries, and community members for an evening designed to light up the Henderson skyline.

A Celebration to Illuminate the Valley

At 5 p.m., as the sun sets, guests will hear ceremonial remarks and special announcements, highlighting the growth of M Resort and its role in Henderson’s hospitality landscape.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow with a vibrant light display signifying M Resort’s bright future ahead and the overall development of the Henderson community. Guests and the general public are then invited to gather at M Resort’s outdoor venue, Patio, at 6 p.m. for a 500-drone light show showcasing the evolution of M Resort and the magic of the season. The show will paint the night sky with dazzling holiday imagery for 12 minutes.

Next, surprise musical guests will take over the poolside stage for a live performance. The evening will wrap up with the showing of the classic holiday movie Elf on the resort’s 800-square-foot LED screen. During these festivities, guests can purchase s’mores and hot chocolate to cozy up and enjoy by the firepits.

This grand opening is a defining moment for M Resort and the community we’re proud to serve,” said Hussain Mahrous, Vice President and General Manager of M Resort Spa Casino. “Our expansion represents a commitment to creating experiences that celebrate both innovation and the spirit of Henderson.”

Expansion Highlights

Guided by a “Hidden Oasis” theme, the design drew inspiration from the resort’s signature M Pool and surrounding desert landscape. The updated casino design brings a sense of calm sophistication to the heart of the property with elements inspired by water, wind, and sand. Pillars were painted blue to represent water’s flow through the space, while hints of yellow and gold in the design mimic sunlight shimmering across a hidden desert oasis.“Our goal was to create an immersive, elevated casino experience that connects with our identity as a resort retreat,” said  Mahrous, “These design upgrades celebrate the natural beauty of our desert location and signal what’s to come with the completion of our expansion.”
