Jenia GALA by French Fashion Designer, Evgeniia Tily

French Fashion Designer Evgeniia Tily started her business, ‘Jenia GALA‘ in 2018, but she had been sewing since a teenager and most recently shown collections at Paris Fashion Week.

“From childhood, I loved sewing and creating. I dressed my dolls and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. Today, that childhood dream has become reality — now I dress real women,” said Tily, better known as Jenia.

Jenia has a playful, fun attitude that shows through her colorful designs., bringing life and personality to al her works.

“I am a fashion designer and tailor. I create unique, handmade clothing that highlights individuality, femininity, and character. I bring French touch and international influences in my creations,” said Jenia. “I enjoy seeing the shining eyes of women when they put on my designs and feel like real princesses. Their confidence and happiness inspire me the most. I create for joy. The one of my customers and indirectly my own.”

Jenia did her first collection in 2019 for Toulouse Fashion Week. That was later followed up with other editions including other collections during the 2024 Paris Fashion Week.

“I grew up in formal Soviet Union, now Russia, but had the luck to travel a lot in Europe during my teenager time. This influenced me a lot,” said Jenia whose creations stem from Downtown Toulouse, the famous and so called Pink City, South West of France.

Jenia studied university finance but holds diplomas in Fashion Design, Pattern Making and Image-Making.

“I design and tailor clothing mainly for women, and occasionally for men. I specialize in custom outfits and dresses, costumes, including designs for dance and stage performances, but also wedding dresses, groom, party,” said Jenia.

Jenia said her biggest challenge in business was setting the ambitious goal of participating in Paris Fashion Week. It required a lot of dedication, discipline, and faith herself. She is proud herself for successfully achieving that goal.

“I run with a motivation that I can create, that I can do it, and that my creation can also please others than me,” she said.

Jenia added that  running a business with a store on day-to-day is also challenging, especially as a mother of a 4 years old daughter.

In closing Jenia said, “Sewing and creating clothing has always been my favorite hobby, and it continues to inspire me every day. Fashion is not just my profession — it is my life and my passion. It is my energy.”

Jenai’s website is currently under construction, but until finished, keep up to date on Instagram at @jenia_gala.
