Petzey, the wellness app for pets and pet parents, recently kicked off a nation-wide wellness tour at NYC’s Seaport Square with animal-loving Bravo TV housewife, Dolores Catania!
Pet lovers and owners gathered for an afternoon full of free pet-friendly activities at Seaport Square at Pier 17. On-site were animal rescue groups, a healthy treat bar, tons of adorable pups, pet focused small businesses, pup-yoga, canine massages, complimentary nail trimmings and more. Pet lovers could even adopt from an on-site rescue.
Petzey is changing the way pet health is handled by providing affordable and accessible professional pet care. Pet influencers, @christhecockatoo and @thebrooklyncorgi, were in attendance. The event also included food & drink, and an area for pets and pet-lovers to network and relax.

The app came to life when CEO, Mike Ortega faced the loss of losing both his golden retriever’s in his arms.
“At the moment all I could think of was, I wish I could call someone right now who could have helped me,” Ortega recalled.
From there the rest was history as Mike decided to dedicate his time to finding a solution for other parents in the dire need of vet attention, or just immediate access to general questions and concerns about their fur-babies.
