Hetrick Martin Institute: School’s Out

Celebrities and VIPs came out in support of the @HetrickMartin Institute’s School’s Out benefit in Southampton with over $600,000 raised and counting.

The special event featured synchronized swimmers with parasols, mermen lounging around the pool and a dinner with courses by #Duryeas #STKsteakhouse #AlmondRestaurantand bar and #KerbersFarm with table settings by #Christophel and #DryFarmWines The paddle raise during dinner hosted by designer Dennis Basso brought in $150,000 by enticing the crowd with tickets to his upcoming fashion show and 3 quarts of his husbands homemade “Red Velvet” tomato sauce.

@KellyRippa and #MarkConsuelos were the first to raise their paddle donating $10,000 and confirmed that Italians call it sauce not gravy — which is regularly debated on their ABC morning show.

Two first class tickets on United Airlines anywhere in the world went for $20,000 which sold twice and Nordstrom’s Made To Measure experience at Casa Zenya in Milan went for $18,000. Nathan Orsman and Jose Castro welcomed attendees into their home that included hosts, Benjamin Dixon, Alessandro Ford-Rippolone, The Points Guy founder Brian Kelly along with Candace Bushnell who auctioned off tickets and dinner for her upcoming show at Canoe Place Inn, Dan Clay a.k.a. Carrie Dragshaw, Katie Lee, Don Lemon, Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski and Thom Filicia.
