Spongelle Raises Funds for the Children of Ukraine and Image Skincare Acheives a Milestone

Beauty and spa junkies took a bruising the last two years. Salons and spas remained closed while other businesses opened, leaving spa aficionados to their own devices to manicure their own nails and try the at-home peel that was never opened.

Day spas have now re-opened for some time now, but hands-on events for media and social influencers just recently trickled back onto the event scene. So what better way to welcome summer than a calendar booked with beauty events from established players to a niche brand that has already left an indelible mark on the world of bath and body care.

Image Skincare

Image Skincare was founded in 2003 by aesthetician Jana Ronert as the only vegan clinical spa brand that merges efficacious formulas with a luxury, multi-sensory experience. In just 21 short years and the choice brand for over 30,000 skincare professionals, Image has finally ascended to the top and is now recognized as the best-selling spa brand.

In honor of Image dethroning some long-time competition for the top spot, Image hosted media and VIP guests at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel for a summer spa day with gourmet bites and a personal introduction to the brand. Guests received a little pampering in an adjacent room transformed into a relaxing treatment room for mini-facials. All guests went home with a generous gift bag filled with customized Image products, including their latest launch, Image MD Restoring Power C Serum. Ultra-concentrated with 20% Vitamin C and super antioxidants, the serum is their most advanced yet. Brightness and luminosity are restored, while hyperpigmentation and fine lines noticeably diminished and softened.

Sunflowers for Ukraine

Meanwhile, at the new Spongelle store in Westfield’s Century City, shoppers and invited guests had the wonderful opportunity to sample Spongelle’s new Sunflower Dreams Body Buffer, of which all sale proceeds will benefit the children affected by war and displacement in Ukraine.

Spongelle

The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. Its vivid yellow petals and blue pistil represent peace and harmony, something which is ruthlessly robbed from children caught in the crossfire of war and hostility. Through Save the Children100% of proceeds from the Sunflower Dreams Body Buffer are donated to provide meals, blankets, and emergency shelter items for children in Ukraine. Each purchase included a sunflower bracelet as a thank you.

LA-based Spongellé, the makers of custom-blended fragrant body buffers, candles, diffusers & lotions, was founded by Elaine Binder, a Ukrainian immigrant who has made America her home for over 40 years. Since its founding, Spongelle has transitioned from a niche bath product into a major luxury retail bath and body brand, with brick and mortar shops around the world and an international customer base that cannot get enough of the premium quality products in captivating, ultra-feminine packaging that is a delight to the senses.

There is still time to purchase Sunflower Dreams and forever impact a child’s life. Visit the Spongelle website or follow them on Instagram.
