TMG brings on star power and a message of love to this year’s 15th Annual Pre-Oscars Luxury Suite Presented by Well-Being Trust.
By Jody Miller
TMG spread the love at a penthouse suite atop the legendary Beverly Hilton Hotel. Celebrities, press, and VIP guests all had equal opportunity to bask in the glow of a day of pampering with a social conscience at this year’s luxury suite.
The love started early as each arriving guest was individually escorted to the suite who then graciously held our bags as we strolled through the lifestyle activations and salon services. First up was a bottle of fruit-infused water from Hint and then on to the Madison 8 Agency CBD lounge. In case you haven’t observed, CBD is the new black and people just can’t get enough. Boutique brands WINK, Gracious Om, and Arder Botanicals showcased bath, body, skin, and wellness products infused with pure plant extracts and high-grade CBD for a lifestyle experience that combines sensory indulgence with intelligent wellness.
Next up was the main parlor where guests could sample hot and cold smoothies by super-appliance Thermomix or get an up-close view of Katherine Baumann Beverly Hills iconic beaded handbags. Next, Aunt Jackie’s Curls & Coils spread the message of love to textured hair women and men via eco-friendly, nutrient-rich haircare that is free of petroleum, mineral oils, sulfates, and parabens. Plus, everyone received a copy of Successful Women’s Mindset by Galit Ventura-Rozen.
Decked out with candles and plush sofas, the spa treatment room was where the real pampering took place. Guests made pre-appointment for luxurious facials by premier French brand Matis Paris or MDNA, a skincare line created by none other than Madonna ( yes, that Madonna) in collaboration with Montecatini Spa in Italy.
All good facials must come to an end. Next up, makeup application with an artist from Pixi Beauty. Mostly seen at Target, the brand has now expanded to Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and a flagship store in Century City. They have also introduced over 80 new products, including a full line of botanical skincare. The polishing and buffing continued with manicures courtesy of Nail Garden followed by dry styling from Redavid Hair. The Vancouver-based haircare line is imbued with skincare quality ingredients for consummate quality and unrivaled performance.
After an afternoon of primping and getting camera ready, guests had the privilege of speaking to teens in a personal interview with the Well Being Trust. An advocacy organization dedicated combating the social, familial, and economic costs of mental illness and substance abuse. Giving back is the ultimate and most satisfying reward after a day of self-love. Spread the word.
