WLDKAT BEAUTY KICKS OFF BRAND RE-LAUNCH AND ALL THINGS PLANT-BASED AT LA’S ONLY URBAN FARM

Renegade beauty brand WldKat revived mid-week doldrums with an outdoor garden party in honor of the brand’s relaunch and new partnership with beauty retail giant Ulta.

Held at Little City Farm LA, a bucolic urban co-op in central Los Angeles, influencers, actors, models, press, and executives enjoyed healthy homegrown grub from East Side Eats LA, surrounded by lush flora and fauna. DJ Anna Krylova provided the chill contemporary sound, while an open bar kept thirsty Wednesday night revelers satisfied with bottomless wine and cocktails. Attendees departed with a gift bag of the entire WldKat line to sample the clean, plant-based products at home.

After a long career as an executive with Urban Decay, WldKat founder Amy Zunzunegui jumped ship from mainstream cosmetics to create a beauty brand founded on her personal principles of sustainability, eco-consciousness, and inclusiveness.

On day one, I threw out that mythical skincare rulebook that said formulas had to be overly complex (yet somehow still not deliver) and packaging had to be predictable. Creating clean (free-of-2700-ingredients-clean,) vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable products that delivered was the mission,” says Zunzunegui.

Each formula is packed with some of the earth’s wildest ingredients, then mixed with modern technology, and housed in sustainable packaging full of personality and attitude. “My goal was to limit questionable chemicals and as much excess waste as possible,” avers Zunzunegui. ” I believe the ultimate skincare compliment is: ‘OMG, your skin is glowing.’ We tested and tried every formula to make sure they all deliver the one thing we all crave… GLOW.”

ildKat uses PCR or PCW (aka Post-Consumer Recycled Material or Waste) packaging, while product tubes are a blend of PCR and bio-resin. They make all products in the USA in factories with renewable wind energy.
