The Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts hosted their annual gala (after a 3 year hiatus due to the pandemic).
The stellar event was in celebration of Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring #JulieAndrews for her passionate support of education and Bay Street that has been continuous since its very founding and the Joel Grey Lifetime Achievement Award to #SarahJessicaParker, and #MatthewBroderick The event took place throughout the #BayStreetTheater featuring a peak “behind the scenes” and included a performance directed by Will Pomerantz featuring #Broadway star #DerrickDavis as host and #IsaacMizrahi adding his comedic thoughts as he hosted the live auction.
In addition to the above, talent, Musical Director, James Bassi, from Bay Street’s Ragtime; Samantha Massell (“Rosalind Franklin” from Double Helix); Max Chlumecky (“James Watson” from Double Helix); Lora Lee Gayer (“Mother” from Ragtime) and Matthew Scott from Broadway’s An American in Paris performed a medley of songs made famous by the honorees.
Other VIPs included, #DonnaKaran, #JohnBenjaminHickey #LuanndeLesseps, #MarsinMogielski and #ChrisBauer amongst donors, patrons and local luminaries.
