Phoebe Kemi, one of Serenity Talent’s newest rising stars, is currently in Milan, Italy this week (February 21-27) to showcase her talents on the runways for the city’s world-famous Milan Fashion Week.
The Nigerian-American model from South Florida, who made waves for top designers on France’s catwalks for Paris Fashion Week in January and worked on high-profile editorial shoots for magazines before heading over to Italy, is over the moon about her jam-packed European appearance schedule.
“Walking during Fashion Week, whether it is New York, London, Milan, or Paris as a model is very prestigious. Fashion Week really helps to launch your career, and it has always been a goal of mine to participate in Fashion Week.”
Hemi is especially excited about the incredible opportunity after a photo shoot for Vogue magazine. “Vogue was catalyst for Milan and Paris Fashion Week; I cried when I saw my images on the pages, and was so shocked and happy they chose to feature me.”
Kemi has recently walked the runways for Custo Barcelona, Michael Cinco, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Anthony Rubio, Alexandra Popescu-York, VFILES, and more.
