El Torito New Cocktail Menu Highlights Fresh, Vibrant Ingredients

After more than 70 years of serving sizzling fajitas, frosty margaritas, and tableside guacamole, El Torito is shaking things up behind the bar. The iconic Mexican restaurant brand has launched a reimagined beverage program, showcasing inventive cocktails, premium spirits, and its first-ever zero-proof margarita. Crafted with the same authentic, made-from-scratch approach that defines El Torito’s Cuisine, the new cocktail lineup balances tradition with innovation. Guests can enjoy bold margaritas, tropical creations, and refined martinis, all designed to suit every palate.

Highlights include:

● Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita – A bold, refreshing twist with Partida Blanco Tequila,
cucumber-jalapeño purée, lime, agave, and a cucumber ribbon ($13.75)
● Guava Hibiscus Margarita – Vibrant and floral, made with El Jimador Blanco Tequila,
guava nectar, hibiscus syrup, and lime ($15)
● Raspberry Sage Lemon Drop – Subtly sweet with an herbal finish, featuring New
Amsterdam Vodka, raspberry, sage, elderflower, and lemon ($15)

● Grilled Piña – Smoky and fruity with Teremana Blanco Tequila, Chambord, grilled
pineapple purée, lime, agave, and crushed ice ($14.50)
● Citrus Cantorito – Fizzy, citrus-packed, and finished with a chamoy & Tajín rim and
tamarind stick ($13)
● Zero Proof Margarita – All the classic flavor without the alcohol, crafted with Almave
Blanco Zero Proof Tequila ($12)

All margaritas can be made alcohol-free with Almave, the world’s first premium
non-alcoholic Blue Agave spirit from Jalisco, Mexico, ensuring inclusivity without
compromising taste.

This addition is no coincidence. A new generation of diners is redefining how they drink, while still seeking bold flavors and social experiences. According to a Gallup poll, only 62% of adults under 35 report drinking alcohol today, down from 72% two decades ago.

Meanwhile, an NC Solutions research shows that 34% of Gen Z consumers are more likely to try a new product if it aligns with sober-curious values. Mocktails aren’t just a trend; they’re an expectation. “We spent countless hours tasting and testing spirits, syrups, and mixers to create cocktails that match the high quality of our food,” said Sady Mojaddidi, director of beverage for Xperience Restaurant Group. “By offering zero-proof options, we ensure every guest can be part of the celebration, whether they’re drinking alcohol or not.”

Guests can enjoy a selection of these handcrafted cocktails daily during happy hour from 3–9 p.m., with drink specials starting at just $4. El Torito is also celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a limited-time menu of chef-driven dishes and seasonal cocktails, including the tropical Pumpkin Piña Margarita, spiced Apple Pie Old Fashioned, and comforting Pumpkin Bread Pudding. From timeless classics to bold new creations, El Torito’s next-generation beverage program has something for everyone — drinkers, dabblers, and the sober-curious alike.
